About Us

Every parent of a child struggling in school will tell you they would do almost anything to give their child the resources they need to build stronger learning skills.

At Brain Works, we believe we can help unleash a student’s unique learning potential. We aspire to see a student succeed in learning and fulfill their life’s dreams.

Our approach includes:

• Completing a comprehensive battery of six tests to assess cognitive deficits, strengths, and learning styles.

• Designing an individual cognitive training program that pinpoints and addresses known deficits (executive function, attention, memory, reading, writing, and processing skills).

• Drawing from over 200 cognitive training activities, games, and drills; developed and tested by professionals with over 45 years of combined experience and research.

• Providing individual and customized one-on-one cognitive training by dedicated educators, skilled in carrying out our approach.

Brain Works is proud to be an Ohio State-approved Jon Peterson Scholarship provider.

"It is our hope that Brain Works would be known as a resource in our community that offers help and hope to struggling students and their families. We want to offer greater understanding to parents who are seeking answers and don't know where to turn for the help they so desperately want for their children. Finally, we want to come alongside students and cheer them on as they begin to discover their learning potential." - Roslyn Burkett
